Terms and Conditions for Dhyanasth Yoga Retreat at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya
- Adherence to Rules and Regulations: Participants are required to abide by the rules and regulations of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. This includes maintaining a respectful environment, avoiding smoking, alcohol, or any kind of drug use within the campus, and refraining from going outside the campus premises after the designated time.
- Sattvik Food: All meals provided during the retreat will be Satvik (pure vegetarian, without onion and garlic). Outside food is discouraged to maintain the holistic environment of the retreat.
- Medical Responsibility: Participants are solely responsible for their own medical expenses. The retreat organizers will not be liable for any medical issues or emergencies. It is advised to carry personal medications and inform the organizers of any pre-existing conditions.
- Shared Accommodation: Accommodation will be on a double or triple-sharing basis. Participants are expected to respect their roommates and maintain cleanliness in shared spaces.
- Routine Participation: Participants are required to follow the structured schedule of the retreat, including yoga sessions, meditation practices, and other activities. Punctuality and active participation are mandatory for an enriching experience.
- Restricted Activities: Smoking, drinking, or engaging in any kind of drug use is strictly prohibited on campus. Violations will lead to immediate expulsion from the retreat without refund.
- Personal Responsibility: While every effort is made to ensure a safe and serene environment, participants are responsible for their belongings and personal safety.
- Payment and Cancellation Policy: To secure your spot in the 6-Day Spiritual Yoga Retreat, an advance payment of ₹5000 is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is to be paid at the time of check-in on the first day, before the welcome ceremony.
In the event of an emergency or medical situation, if you are unable to attend the retreat after making the advance payment, you can transfer your advance payment to our next or upcoming retreat. However, you must inform us via email at least 10 days prior to the retreat start date, along with proper documentation of the emergency. This option is available only for valid emergencies and will not be refunded.
The advance payment confirms your participation, and the remaining balance ensures your full commitment to the retreat. We look forward to welcoming you on this transformative journey!
- Compliance with Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Guidelines: As the retreat is hosted within the university premises, all participants must comply with the university’s decorum and practices.
- Clothing & Attire Guidelines for the Retreat: As the retreat takes place in the sacred environment of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, we encourage participants to wear comfortable, modest, and traditional attire to maintain the spiritual essence of the place. We recommend wearing Indian clothes, such as kurta-pajamas, salwar kameez, or sarees, which align with the cultural and spiritual atmosphere of the retreat.
Please ensure that your clothing is respectful of the surroundings, particularly when attending ceremonies, yoga sessions, and spiritual visits. Light, breathable fabrics are ideal for yoga practices, while more formal wear is appropriate for spiritual gatherings and temple visits.
Additionally, we recommend avoiding any flashy or revealing clothing, as the retreat focuses on mindfulness, simplicity, and inner peace.
These terms and conditions are designed to ensure a harmonious and fulfilling experience for all participants while respecting the sanctity of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya.
